I have been going to Levin and Chellen for many years. Being a nurse is hard on the back! Dr. Levin always manages to fix it! I remember the very first time I saw Dr. Levin I walked in with a lot of pain and walked out with none! Dr.Levin and Dr. Chellen are very dedicated in teaching wellness and teaching ways to prevent further injury, and rehabilitation. Both are excellent teachers and will give detailed answers to your questions to ensure you understand the answers. They are caring people who are truly interested in your wellbeing. Wouldn't go anywhere else, I am very happy with the care I have received, and continue to receive from Levin and Chellen! One last note, at times money can be an issue for most of us. Their fees have always been and continue to be very reasonable. If you need a good chiropractor go and see Levin and Chellen, you will not be disappointed!

I have been going to Nels Chellen and sometimes Sharon Levin for years. They have been the only ones to alleviate my back, knee, and foot problems, after going to many physical therapists. The treatment is very gentle and thorough. When I injured my back severely and was in physical therapy, Nels is the one who eventually helped me turn the corner and become able to work again.
They take their time instead of rushing you out. When I moved I tried several other chiropractors, but finally returned to them, even though it was a 45 minute drive. They are the only ones who have helped me.

I hurt my back really bad last October. After laying in bed for a week on pain medications and not getting better, I decided to try to find a Chiropractor to help me. It was a Saturday and I didn't think I would be able to find anyone to take a new patient on a Saturday. Dr. Chellen answered the phone and listened to what I was going through and said that Dr. Levin could see me in 30 minutes!! I drove over to their office, and I will never forget trying to get out of the car and the pain I was in. I had to walk hunched over, I could not straighten up and walk. Just to let you know - I am in my late 30s. Anyway I went in and Dr. Levin listened to me and did a full exam of me, she took the time to answer all of my questions and I had ALOT of questions! She adjusted my back - and I will NEVER forget that I stood straight up and walked out of the office - I was not hunched over. I was still sore - but 100 times better in one visit. You are not going to find a better Chiropractor office. Both Dr. Levin and Dr. Chellen are amazing. They take the time to answer questions. They answer their own phone, and they stay on top of the insurance company to make sure that the insurance companies are doing their jobs! I strongly believe if I would not have found Dr. Levin, that I wouldn't be able to walk straight and would still be getting the run around from the regular Dr. who says just take muscle relaxers when your back acts up. You can't live your life on muscle relaxers!! Thank goodness for Doctors like Levin & Chellen!!!

I've worked with Sharon Levin for about 5 years now, and I'm very pleased with her approach to chiropractic care. Some of the things I appreciate most:
* She always asks my permission before trying any new type of adjustment on me.
* If I don't like an adjustment after trying it once, she'll always find an alternate I'm more comfortable with.
* She makes recommendations on frequency of visits based on how I'm feeling, not on how much revenue she wants to generate. Case in point: After a recent visit where she did a LOT of adjusting, I asked her if it would be better to come in more frequently. She asked if I was feeling pain in between visit and, when I told her I wasn't, replied that I should keep coming in at 6-week intervals, rather than every 5 weeks.
* She does THE BEST long-muscle massage stroke that my back has ever been privileged to feel.
Sharon is the very definition of a compassionate, skilled heath care provider. You deserve to see that for yourself.

I first went to Dr. Sharon Levin a year ago. I had never been to a chiropractor. I had been having some head and neck aches and I sought relief through my primary care doctor who then referred me to several specialists. An MRI showed no problems and I was given several drugs which produced serious reactions further complicating my headache issues. Out of desperation I decided to go to a chiropractor and searched the internet for one in my area who was proficient in the Activator method (upon the recommendation of a friend in Iowa). I found Nels and Sharon that way. When I called for an appointment I knew right away (they answer the phone themselves!) that I had found two people who were genuinely interested in trying to provide relief for me and Sharon scheduled an immediate appointment. I am not exaggerating when I say that after a couple of months of being so sick due to the medications I had been given when I had my first chiropractic appt. I could tell that I had found the right people to help. She was not only successful in relieving my headaches but provided a series of exercises to help regain the strength I had lost the previous couple of months. My headaches have never returned and I credit her directly with that outcome. I continue to see her on a regular basis. She is so knowledgeable caring and professional - I can't say enough good things. I also convinced my husband to go see Dr. Sharon - he had never been to a chiropractor for a bothersome back. He finally gave in to my urging and made an appt. with Dr. Sharon. He too is a totally convinced and committed patient -and he's learned so much from Dr. Sharon during his visits. She makes a special effort to educate us as she works. We wouldn't go anywhere else and we hold them in very high regard. More than 5 stars for them both.

I have seen a physical therapist and had other chiropractic adjustments in the past for my lower back. Nothing seemed to relieve my back pain and tightness until I became a patient at Levin and Chellen Chiropractic.

Having been assigned to a project in Minneapolis, and suffering from a severely inflamed Sciatic nerve, I contacted L&C after looking on line and spoke with Dr. Chellen. It was a lucky find - Dr. Chellen is sincere, engaged and has a significant working knowledge of his area of expertise. He does not require an X- Ray to treat you, and he is willing to work with you if you have a difficult schedule. But their practice is about much more than convenience - they truly take the time to address your issues, and are willing to answer questions and even provide additional information if you are interested. I have no hesitation writing this review since I am confident that they will provide anyone with the best chiropractic care.

I see Dr. Chellen and he is so amazing. My daughter is never scared to go in there and he's extremely gentle for children as well as grown ups. He's the 7th chiropractor I've been to around the US and he's hands down the best one I have been to. He does his soft tissue work himself, he does not put you on a machine. He's been able to adjust my neck many times without moving it fast. He usually has gotten my muscles so relaxed with his hands that when he turns my head I can hear it adjusting. They have a small office which makes it very personable, it's just the two of them. It's very clean and neat, you don't need a big office for this. He spends a lot of time with each person and schedules his appointments carefully. It's not a ten minute appointment and a crowded waiting room. I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else. I really don't have a lot of pain now.

I've been seeing Dr. Levin for numerous problems. Extreme hip and leg pain brought me to the office. Besides that, I had problems with my right hand, both feet and lower back. Dr. Levin treated me for all areas.
I have never had a healthcare provider who spent so much time with me. Dr. Levin not only treated me in the office, but sent exercises home with me, called several times between appointments to see how I was doing, and researched my symptoms for possible cause. I truly felt better after just the first appointment, but have booked several since because it took me years to get in the bad shape I was. I didn't expect miracles after one treatment. That said, Drs. Levin and Chellen's philosophy is that they want their patients to not need their services in the future. Levin and Chellen Chiropractic is the most personal, respectful, and helpful clinic I've ever been connected with and recommend the doctors highly.

I've gone to a few different chiropractors in the cities, and Levin and Chellen Chiropractic is by far the best that I have been to. They take their time and actually care about you rather than how fast they can get you in and out the door like most chiropractors I've seen. I've gone from having to go due to back pain about twice a month to going only once every few months (just to make sure that everything is still okay). I would *highly* recommend Dr.Levin and Dr.Chellen to anyone looking for a chiropractor as you will definitely NOT be disappointed with the quality of their service.

I was searching for a new chiropractic office when my chiropractor gave up his practice. I hate searching for chiropractors. My body is very sensitive to adjustments and I know that manual manipulation is too tough for me. I did some searching and wanted something closer to my home.
I found that Dr. Sharon Levin and Dr. Nels Chellen were certified advanced proficiency rated with the Activator and only a hop, skip and jump from my home. I could not be happier that I have found Dr. Sharon Levin. I can feel results sometimes before getting off the table. My family has degenerative disc disease. I have a twin sister who has had 13 back surgeries, a brother with one surgery and another sister with 3 back surgeries. I know that chiropractic care has helped me avoid many surgeries. I have found that I am getting great results faster with Dr. Levin than any other chiropractors I have been to and the adjustments stick. What a blessing! I have not seen Dr. Nels Chellen but I would have no reservations on seeing him either. They have a philosophy that is refreshing and rare. You know that they care and will not force unnecessary visits for you. I've been a patient of this professional and caring Chiropractic office for years and have always been extremely satisfied. The location is run out of a quaint, clean and welcoming, walk-in office that just so happens to be attached to the home of the husband & wife team who deliver services. In spite of the unconventional space I've never felt the location felt awkward or imposing. In fact I believe it's part of the charm which makes your treatment seem that much more welcoming and comforting.
I've seen Sharon (the wife) specifically for her expertise in the "activator" method (which I find more gentile and precise than traditional manual spinal manipulation). I especially appreciate her patience and knowledge through the years with the millions of questions I have asked her.. and I ALWAYS leave feeling SO much better! When my back, neck, hips (or you name it is out of alignment)--she fixes it. If you're looking for a more personalized, custom and caring approach -- I definitely recommend trying them out.
